About the database

This database is the result of two projects by the principal investigator Daniela Fugellie: the Fondecyt Initiation project 11170844 "Alternative Spaces of Contemporary Music in Chile, 1945–1995" (2017–2020) and the Music Fund project, Research Line 583750 "Biographies of Chilean Classical Music Performers, 1945-1995. Research and Dissemination of their Contribution to Chilean Musical Life" (2021/22).

Within the framework of the first project, the database of classical music concerts (1945-1995) emerged, which was complemented by offering biographies of classical music performers and groups from the second project.

Gerardo Marcoleta (2017-2019), Sergio Araya (2017-2022), and Constanza Toledo (2020-2022) worked on these projects. The database and its user interface were designed by Johnny Reveco and Juan Pablo Gil.
